Directions

1 Fried Meatballs - step 1
Cut the stale bread crumbs into cubes, place them in a bowl, add the milk, and let it absorb for a few minutes
2 Fried Meatballs - step 2
Add the ground beef and sausage meat to the bowl, and mix well by hand
3 Fried Meatballs - step 3
Add the grated Parmesan cheese, the bread, the egg, and parsley, then mix until it becomes a compact mixture
4 Fried Meatballs - step 4
Form the meatballs, giving them a round and slightly flattened shape with a diameter of about 5 centimeters, and place them on a tray
5 Fried Meatballs - step 5
Place a large pan with peanut oil on the stove and bring it to temperature
Tip: If you have a kitchen thermometer, check that it has reached 170 degrees

Cost

Meatballs shouldn't be an expensive dish; in fact, this is a budget-friendly recipe. Each serving costs only a couple of euros

Health

Adding sausage gives the dish a lot of flavor but also a fair amount of calories. Avoid seconds if you’re on a diet
