Wash the asparagus and remove the tough bottom ends. Slice them into rounds, setting the tips aside

Cut the prosciutto into strips and sauté it in a pan with a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil, then set it aside

Add the asparagus to the pan (start with the rounds, then add the tips after a few minutes). Cook for about 7–10 minutes, adding a pinch of salt and a bit of water
